Creative Lab Amsterdam has developed a new collection of greeting cards made from a plant called Elephant Grass (Miscanthus), a 100% natural wonder plant. Twelve new designs have been created using this beautiful paper. Grown on Dutch soil, on bare land, elephant grass is a special plant. Because the paper is grown in the Netherlands, it doesn't have to travel far to be yours. In this way we use the Dutch processing industry and as little transport as possible.

Grows on marginal land not suitable for food production
In the Netherlands it absorbs around 30 tons of CO2 per hectare per year (four times more than a European forest).
Non-food crop that can be harvested every spring for 20 years after cultivation.
Low moisture, workable from land immediately
Suitable for use in many sustainable materials including bio-plastic, bio-concrete and paper
