CHARACTERISTIC AND INTENSIVE
Strong and nutty in taste with a slight bitter note - this makes hazelnuts not only a popular baking ingredient for cakes and biscuits. Distilled and stored in wooden barrels, it becomes a wonderful schnapps specialty - the old hazelnut.
WIDESPREAD AND WELL-KNOWN
The popular nut variety has been known for thousands of years and thrives almost throughout Europe. The harvest of the fruits, which usually grow on bushes that are several meters high, begins in September. Then they are first dried for a few weeks before Prinz can process them in their fine distillery.
MACERATION AND DISTILLATION
In order to enhance the characteristic taste of the nuts, they are roasted before maceration (soaking in alcohol). Wonderful scents are released that fill the entire Prinz distillery. Distilled twice, the incredibly aromatic hazelnut distillate is first stored in earthenware and then in wooden barrels, which gives it its pronounced mild and golden yellow colour.
THE HAZELNUT SCHNAPPS FROM THE WOODEN BARREL NUTTY CHOCOLATE TEMPTATION
Intense, finely scented hazelnut notes dominate the nose. The schnapps is extremely soft and mild on the palate. Finely tart tones of nuts, chocolate and caramel form the taste highlight of this specialty. A full-bodied experience that lingers on in the aftertaste.
Drinking recommendation: Enjoy the old hazelnut as a digestif in a schnapps goblet at a temperature between 17 and 21 °C. For a particularly intense taste experience, add a whole hazelnut to the glass!

Delivery times
Unless otherwise specified in the respective offer, delivery of the goods will take place within Germany within 3 - 5 days, and for deliveries abroad within 5 - 7 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the date of your payment instruction).
